Small Pratincole Glareola lactea<\/em><\/strong>: One Al Kharaanah 25-26.01.2013 (GS, TC, NGM, ET, DKP, JAB, DV, MJG, & AS et al) accepted into Category A. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arctic Skua Stercorarius parasiticus<\/em><\/strong>: One Simaisma coast 05.03.2013 (NGM). This now becomes the only record in Category A following acceptance of the record by QBRC and an earlier review of the one and only historic record which is no longer considered acceptable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

North Caspian Stonechat Saxicola maurus variegatus<\/em><\/strong>: One Irkayya Farm 19.02.2013 (NGM) accepted into Category A. This highly distinctive sub-species of Siberian Stonechat Saxicola maurus<\/em> has surely been overlooked and it is hoped that publishing this first record might encourage the submission of more observations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Byzantine Stonechat Saxicola maurus armenicus<\/em><\/strong>: One Sailiyah West Sewage Ponds 11.11.2012 (NGM). Another distinctive sub-species of Siberian Stonechat Saxicola maurus<\/em> that has surely been overlooked. Hopefully, more records will follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little Gull Hydrocoloeus minutus<\/em><\/strong>: One first-winter Al Ruwais harbour 11.01.2013 (NGM, ET, GS, & WH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
